The key objective for a comprehensive development support company is to meet the customers' needs for the "actual article" even in the development phase. ARRK has established the new RPT factory to strengthen this system. Injection molded articles can now be delivered utilizing direct carving fabrication and other methods that take advantage of mold design and high-speed machining center that use solid data; a high-precision data carrier.

The merit of RPT is that molded articles can be made in a very short period of time. Also, as the production method closely models the final molding process, verification of the final mold design and products (for gates, burrs, etc) is performed. Other checks and evaluations are carried out on the mold prototype, and small production lots are also available (several dozen to several hundred units).
Verification of mold design in solid form is completed at this RPT phase as part of the basic review to prepare for the final mold. This enable us to simplify the final mold design and reduce nearly fifty percent of the modification cost of tool and time, therefore, ARRK is able to offer a reduction in the total cost of development.
